What’s new at the Sunset Grill?
For one, the new owners, Kelly and Steve Devine. After spending the last 20+ years working for such international brands as Texas Roadhouse, Johnny Rockets, Kenny Roger’s Roasters and Boston Market, Kelly and Steve decided to settle down in the White Mountains and run their own restaurant / pub. “We have always dreamed of having an opportunity to put our own spin on restaurant hospitality. We believe that it is our duty to exceed every Guest’s expectations at every meal we serve. Great food is only the beginning. We also must provide awesome service and outrageous hospitality. Old menu favorites are still here, but we’ve added our KCBS Competition barbeque, some hearty sides and homemade pies and desserts to the menu as well.”
Kelly works the kitchen with long-time head chef Jimmy Grablewski, turning out the best seafood dishes, steaks, rotating daily specials, homemade soups and Pub Grub. Meanwhile, Steve tends the smokers out back where the pork, ribs, chicken, tri-tip, brisket and sausage are transformed from mere ingredients into BBQ nirvana! He starts with his own secret recipe dry rubs, smokes the meats low and slow over charcoal and fruit woods, then offers them up to Guests as sliders, sandwiches or platters along with a hearty portion of his house made sauces.
We are open for business Tuesday through Sunday from 11:30 – 10:00 (or until the last Guest leaves) and there is always something going on here. On Fridays, Kelly’s shucking oysters and clams for the fresh raw bar. On Sunday morning brunch starts at 10:00 and runs until 2:00, come and try the best Bloodies around! Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday we feature outstanding music and talented artists from around the North Country.
Still not enough new stuff? Then check out the all new interior décor, updated and expanded draft beer taps or the expanded outside patio / deck where we offer our full menu and bar service, a great place to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air! Our restaurant and lounge are welcoming and friendly. In the summer it’s a stop for vacationing families, tourists, golfers, kayakers, and motorcyclists. In the winter, it’s a traditional stop for the snow mobile clubs that travel the tracks only a few yards away.
